CRPA (Citizens Rights Protection Agency) gives advice on your rights, stops unfair, deceptive and fraudulent business practices by collecting complaints and conducting investigations and in certain cases suing companies and individuals on behave of the compliant when it can be established that the law have been broken, developing rules and encouraging discussions to maintain a fair marketplace and trading, and educating consumers and businesses about their rights and organisations about their rights and responsibilities.
We will act as the nation’s ‘consumer protection agency’ and will take on businesses that don’t make good on their promises or cheat people out of money. We share these complaints with our law enforcement partners and use them to investigate fraud and eliminate unfair business practices. When a customer feels strongly enough that his or her expectations have not been met, he or she may make a complaint to the company. It is the response and handling of the matter after the complaint that the aggrieved customer can engage us at CRPA to act to ensure that the company is accountable.
We protect citizens against improperly described, damaged, faulty, and dangerous goods and services as well as from unfair trading ,treatments and credit practices and violations.
